A Right to Information (RTI) reply filed by RTI activists in Hyderabad city has revealed that Rs 4499 lakhs have been distributed to Dalit brother beneficiaries in Nizamabad. According to this information, the funds of Telangana District Scheduled Caste Seva Sahakari Vikas Society Limited were released on July 11 for a total of 550 beneficiaries of Nizamabad.

In this regard the guidelines have been issued by the Vice President and Managing Director of Telangana Scheduled Caste Cooperative Development Corporation Limited (TSCCDC) Hyderabad. The beneficiary list was verified by the concerned MLAs of the assembly constituencies.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has passed an order to implement Dalita Bandhu Yojana in Vasalmari. The State Government has given Rs 7.60 crore to District Collectors for the implementation of Dalit Bandhu Yojana. This amount was credited to Collector Pamela Satpathy’s account.

Under Dalit Bandhu Yojana Rs. 10 lakhs will be directly deposited into the beneficiary’s bank account. The money given under this scheme does not need to be returned to the government. Beneficiaries can start any business of their choice. The Telangana Scheduled Caste Cooperative Development Corporation has made some suggestions regarding units to be established by Dalits who have received funds under the Dalit Bandhu Yojana. TSCCDC has also developed lists of various elements in demand and will be creating public awareness on various issues.

Special committees have been constituted for effective implementation of Dalit Bandhu Yojana. At the district level, the committee will be chaired by the Collector.
